Lovely location and good value for money, however the caravan we stayed (247) was very smelly. The heating also didnt work. We love the area but could not return to this accommodation.

The lodge was lovely, surroundings are really nice although at night it is very dark. I do understand it's in the countryside as we live in the countryside but the lighting outside the lodge wasn't good especially when you are taking the dog out for their last wee. We did take a torch but not everyone would.

The caravan was horrible. It smelt terrible and we used to dread going back in the evening. Settee, duvets and bedding felt damp. We have had to wash all the clothes not even worn since we got home due to the smell.

Ash caravan we was given was starting to show its age. Flooring rolled up, sofa not really comfortable, steps going to the veranda starting to brake. Beds are comfortable and 2 bathrooms. We wouldnt like to try and get 8 people in the ash caravan might be a bit tight.

We had a lovely long weekend - the lodges are a bit dated but clean, well equipped and comfy. (Although some scatter cushions on the sofa would make it comfier!)The only disappointment was that we booked and paid for a high chair and travel cot. These didn't arrive at our lodge until 6:30 - way past baby dinner time and cutting it very fine for bed time. It would be far better for these items to be in the accommodation on arrival. The pool was great - it was brilliant to have all the kids toys on the side to play with. More family changing rooms and baby changing tables would be helpful. Sadly the pool was closed on our final day - which no one mentioned to us (even when I asked about swimming on that day). This led to two sad children! More general swim sessions would also be good. The play park and soft play is great for younger kids too.Overall we had a great time and will hopefully return. To this lovely part of Cornwall and would use st minver again.

On arrival given keys and a map with location marked. Parked at this location and entered caravan only to find that someone else's belongings were in it. Just as about to return to reception occupants returned and were horrified to find that we had been given the keys to this caravan. At reception we were told sorry just human error and then given some more keys to another van. Not at all exceptable. This should never happen and was not a good start to our holiday. Second van several light bulbs out and curtains falling off the rails and coffee cups left stained. Wonder whether this caravan had been cleaned.

After being moved from unsuitable acommodation to the lodge we found it clean and comfortable with good location views and facilities with in the lodge. However there were problems with the showers and fire alarm One shower was fixed whilst we were there the other was waiting for parts. The staff were very helpful and friendly whilst sorting out our concerns and after a rough first couple of days we had a great holiday

The caravan was alright. It has 2 toilets and 3 bedrooms just enough for all of us (2 adults and 3 children). The light in one of the bedrooms wasn't working but luckily there was a lamp which we used as a substitute. The cutleries wasn't well cleaned which was disappointing. Price wise it was cheap.

we was booked to stay in Polzeath 3 bed lodge for 7 days ,lodge 35 we was allocated what a nightmare as soon as opened door it stunk, the cooker hood full of crease and fat.radiator's covered in dust rust and dirt. freezer stunk and was dirty, shower head broken and dirty in shower yellow seals , the bedrooms smelt of damp and mould spots everywhere.couldn't open patio doors, and clasp for outside gate broken.complained and refused to stay we was offered to look at lodge 34 if we didn't take that then there was nothing else available. In this time my husband had started to have anxiety attack and kids fed up as had taken us 4 hours to get to site, we taken lodge 34 but had to do dash to out to get cleaning products.the hall way light kept flickering, the spot light under kitchen counter kept flicking on and off look like it had been pulled down.damp and mould in main bedroom and stunk.both showers had yellow seals and looks like the bathrooms had been painted as paint sprays over shower head , toilet, bin and radiators.there was only grill tray in oven no other trays and the grill didn't fit on tray. had to go by trays to cook.no lamps in any of the bedroom with kids that don't like dark had to go buy lamps for bedrooms .cables hanging down in Livingroom and all the dinning chairs different and all wobbly.I spent day cleaning lodge even windows as it was horrible very dated.Site has no internet connection at all and when had free trial of internet in lodge didn't work either.

Didn't use facilities as we were out every day but lodge was fantastic. Bedding and towels provided and loads of storage space. 2 bathrooms. Nice and quiet in October. Lodge warmed up quickly and bed was comfy. Would definitely come back again

Was surprised with a free upgrade on arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful. We needed to stay an extra night as my car unfortunately broke down and they were so accommodating. We went to the restaurant for breakfast as a family of 3 (1 adult 2 toddlers) to hear nothing on the kids menu was available which was disappointing. Everything else was perfect and we will 100% return soon.

Booking system for activities (pool) didn't work so couldn't use them as fully booked. Unaware it was Park Dean site which was geared towards children. Lodge damp and "tired".

Excellent place to enjoy holiday apart from WiFi is very bad o2 network not working there so we get internet only in the restaurant. And the swimming pool should be open all day and not on appointment only one hour per visit. But everything else great ????
