Basic caravan equipped with what you need. Couple of cupboards missing doors but didn't affect decor. Laminated throughout even in bedrooms due to being pet friendly so need slippers. Bed very comfy.Caravan at top of the hill so fantastic views of the sea. Car parking space outside door. Heating good and no draught from windows.

The caravan was spacious and clean though slightly dated and worn. I loved the big cupboards but the sofas weren't the most comfortable and the double bed could probably do with a new mattress as it had various lumps and bumps in the foam. I liked the layout with the bedrooms split at either end of the van, helped to keep the noise down at night. Also, it's the only caravan I've ever been to with a washing machine!

Restaurant was over priced and poor quality, the burgers were nice but the curly fries were rock hard. Tiny portions when youre paying £80 for 5 burgers and a coke. Caravan was comfortable but no bedding for the 5th person. Sofa was looking a bit worn and shabby but other than that we had a good time. Water ball activity is a bit over priced for 5 minutes

Disappointing in all, admittedly a cheap weeks get away at the end of season but it certainly felt like that. All soft furnishing stained (took photos if required), rubbish found under the bed, one of the bathroom doors locks was faulty so randomly locked you in and out.

If you do not have a car, avoid at all costs, there is no form of transport laid on for taking you to your caravan up a very steep incline. Caravan was ok, food was poor to average at the resturant, and overpriced. We wont be returning to Wemyss Bay.

Connery CaravanThe caravan looked lovely but sadly smelled of urine. The sofa was badly marked and stained and we were unable to sit on it. Had to put a quilt over it to be able to sit down. Complained - said they would get it cleaned and agreed it was bad from the pictures I took. They didnt clean it so had this for the full break. Have complained to customer service.Such a shame as it would have been a lovely accommodation. Clean beds and bedding and perfect kitchen with everything needed.Food..Day 1 .. I ordered coffee and a soft drink and food for two. Drinks were available immediately and food to follow. There were around 4 families including us in the restaurant so reckoned it wouldnt take long. After 25 mins waiting I had lost patience the waitress asked oh did you order drinks and food?! .. yes.. the food hadnt even been ordered! .. a printer error.Day 2 As again the restaurant wasnt busy and we were in a hurry so I ordered two sandwiches. One BLT and one ploughmans and drinks. After 20 mins they arrived.. the ploughmans had hard bread that had gone dry one one side and the BLT had only lettuce and tomato with mayonnaise.. no bacon.. took it back and although they brought fresh food for both it was another 15mins and we had to eat some and leave as we had activities booked and had to go. They did offer to give me it in a takeaway box.Their reasoning was they had been very busy and run off their feet! Wouldnt recommend!

The holiday park was lovely overall, although the restaurant was not value for money. I ordered a steak and ale pie and it was absolutely horrible. I was expecting a homemade steak pie and it definitely wasnt. I attended with my family and we left a lot of the meal and went to Largs and had something else. Waste of £75! We went to this caravan park for the lovely scenery to then find out our caravan was down the front facing weeds! We couldnt see anything out our windows accept weeds. The swimming was an absolute joke aswell due to them telling us we had to book for a longer session which wasnt allowing us to book as we booked through hoseasons. So the we got 45 minutes which after changing 4 kids and ourselfs left us with no longer than 30 minutes in a pool!

We had a great holiday at Wemyss Bay. Caravan was well situated and very clean. Sofa had a dip in it and was a bit uncomfortable to sit on.The staff were helpful, pool good for the kids. Had a meal in the restaurant and we all loved our food, all empty plates for each course all be it a wee bit pricey. The entertainment complex could do with some upgrading and repairs but apart from that, that's my only downside. Site is fab placed for ferry and train and we done a lot of exploring to other places for gorgeous walks etc.We visited Seamill for the beach, Largs, Inverkip, Gourock and got the ferry to Rothesay.Fab family holiday with an 8 and 9 year old!!

The holiday was spoiled by a burst water main which left us with no toilet for 2days and all we got from the staff was 1 bottle of 2 litres water a day to wash and drink .The site did not keep us informed on any plans they had to help or try and keep the children entertained as hub was closed.
