Everything was great at Yare View apart from our smoke detectors going off at 0330hrs Sunday morning, we think it was an electrical fault so nothing to worry about.

The lodge, setting, location were all to a high standard and we had a wonderful weekend away, thank you.

Cottage was really nice, slightly over priced for three nights, but went to celebrate my husband 50th birthday, so treated ourselves, would of been nice If the BBQ was included in the price, (extra charge), Also the coffee machine has a additional cost of 50p per coffee capsule!!,

Woodpecker is without a doubt the best cottage! Having a garden to sit in and view of the river from the hot tub is worth the extra cost. We have given a score of 9 for 'comfort and equipment' simply because we felt all the outdoor seating was rather hard, even though cushions were provided, it was not very comfortable.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and we'd move in in a heartbeat. So comfortable and freshly decorated. The only thing that would have improved it would have been a view from the hot tub rather than a high screen at the back although I appreciate it was done for privacy

The cottage was sound proofed excellently so you wouldn't know there was anyone else staying anywhere close by. The views were uninterrupted and the whole place was peaceful.
All the equipment available was clean and looked brand new so was great quality. We especially liked the torch/night light.

Wonderful location peaceful and quiet setting. Ideal place to escape the rat race and re connect with nature.

Only criticism paid extra for faster internet but it was terrible. I work as a journalist and need to have access to write stories and having very weak signal this made it impossible for me to work. It would take me 3 hours to write a ten minute article
