Just four miles from Dartmoor National Park, Kingsford Farm Lodges are located on rural farmland, surrounded by 65 acres of woods and fields and boasting a private fishing lake that enthusiasts will love. The City of Exeter is only a few miles away with its ancient cathedral, plus a great variety of pubs, restaurants, shops and river cruises.

The sweeping Devon countryside and beautiful coastlines are within easy reach of these stylish lodges - and a tour through Exeter's underground passageways is an interesting way to get a different view of the city.

Kingsford Lodge is a luxury lodge that sleeps up to four people with one king sized double room and one twin bedroom. It's centrally heated with a large walk-in shower and has French doors that lead to a decking area with garden furniture and an outdoor hot tub. It offers stunning views across the fishing lake.

At Morwellham Quay, a 1,000 year old inland port and village, you can take a train straight into a copper mine and see ships, cottages, workshops and museums. The wonderful county of Devon also has theme parks, stately homes and gardens to explore, as well as some outstandingly beautiful natural attractions, such as Becky Falls Woodland Park in Newton Abbot with its café and craft shop.

Had a lovely time. The best Lodge and Park ever stayed on. Lodges looked as new and the grounds were kept spotless by Debbie and her team. Great care taken over recycling and both this and normal waste was collected from the bins daily to avoid litter being attacked by birds! Hot tub was amazing. Mentioned a light in the bathroom was not working and they could not have got onto the case any quicker - giving us an update as soon as they saw us (as fitting not available initially and would be a day's delay).

The Farm down a narrow lane but not a problem and we coped with it when the need arose. The road was made up and not earth and stones/gravel. Sometimes, we could go in and out and not see another vehicle. The SAT NAV took us on narrower roads as we travelled around the county!

We had a lovely stay here as always. I was left a bottle of bubbly by the owner for my birthday which was a lovely surprise. The lodge has everything you need, except food. Maybe needs some tongs for cooking but that's the only thing we missed. Lovely clean lodge and the hot tub is amazing. We found a lovely little post office and village shop just at the bottom of the road out in the Pathfinder Village. Small shop but has all the essentials if you have run out of anything and don't fancy driving to Sainsburys. The road down to the lodge is a one track lane so drive carefully but once at the lodge it is so lovely and peaceful its worth the drive! Darts Farm is worth a visit, Budleigh Salterton is lovely and also Dawlish Warren. We will most definitely be back again.

A perfect short break in a lovely clean lodge with everything we could need. Beautiful grounds and the fishing was great, as was the hot tub. It is a very peaceful location and a real get away from it all place. Easy to get into Exeter and on to Dartmoor. We will definitely book again.

Perfect location for a perfect holiday.
Sue
A lovely part of the country and enjoyed the drive through the Moors. Some amazing scenery.
Steve
Lovely lodges in a lovely setting. Spacious and comfortable. Hot tub was fantastic. Only downside is the road leading to the farm which is very narrow, but after travelling along it a few times becomes less daunting. Lots to do in the surrounding area.
Gowan
Peace and quiet location, clean and tidy lodge, beautiful location next to a small lake with ducks and fish for the kids to feed. The donkeys also ticked some boxes for kids 👍. Overall very enjoyable, 15/20min drive to the shops and 30/45mins to any daytime past times.
Lara
