Fun Days Out in Argyllshire & Islands

Landmark Theme Park is a popular family attraction in Scotland and is a great choice for those with children of varied ages. The site is packed with attractions to keep the whole family amused. Landmark is rather unique as a theme park as it is based around nature. Activities include Tree Topping and Rock climbing although there are also some more traditional theme park rides such as a log flume. The park is abundant with nature including Red Squirrels and Clydesdale Horses and there is also a new Pinewood Grill for tasty snacks and a Gift Shop.

The amazing Loudoun Castle Theme Park is the largest in Scotland taking up a staggering 500 acres of glorious countryside. The park is suitable for visitors of all ages and has an excellent choice of rides including thrilling Rollercoasters. The site also hosts some fantastic family shows including the popular 'Walk the Plank' High Dive Show.  This place is much more than a theme park though, and younger children in particular will love the Dougal McDougal's farm area where the inhabitants include friendly goats, pigs and llamas as well as rabbits and other small pets.

Whirpool bath and sauna superb. After a 350 mile drive from brum the whirpool bath was so relaxing. We will be booking again.
Louise
Beautiful location and friendly staff who went the extra mile to make our visit extra special by decorating our cabin with 50th birthday decorations for my husband. Immaculate cabin with lots of nice touches, I especially loved my white robe and slippers for when I was in and out of the hot tub! Options for walks was somewhat limited but we were happy to drive out to find more suitable walks for the dog. Some may have an issue with the lack of wifi but a week without internet didn't do us any harm. It was quite liberating! All in all a thoroughly lovely holiday. We'd definitely consider returning.
John
First class staff very friendly and cheerful we took the dog only problem no lights on the paths at night would have been nice if we were told to take a torch
SIMON
The park was fairly small with limited facilities but that didn't matter to us - it was just an excellent base.
