The lodge was very clean & the beds were very comfortable. You had nearly everything that you needed for your stay but be mindful that you are about 7 miles from the nearest shop so you're better taking a few bits with you. You are supplied with bedding & towels but you'll need your own products & if you don't want to be shopping on your first day, food.

Beautiful location and friendly helpful owners. Very spacious lodge. Excellent hot tub which the owner turned up a degree at our request. Hooks outside for towels would be good.Would benefit from more cutlery, new pillows with protectors and mattress toppers and protectors. Also there were no towels for hot tub use and no hair dryer in the property. We couldnt find a first aid kit either. All of these things have been standard in other lodges we have stayed in. The main bedroom only has patio doors so didnt feel comfortable leaving open at night so room got quite warm. Air conditioning in living area was very good though.

This was our second time here and we've booked again for next year for a week. The cabin has loads of space, the hot tub and outdoor space are great as well. The distance from the other lodge makes you feel really at ease with the neighbours, especially as our kids are very noisy. The WiFi and Aircon are welcome additions and we're great. The owner seemed nice and he was very stealthy on his early morning hot tub check. They were also very reasonable about our son trashing the sheets with a nosebleed. Perhaps a 50% trim on the hedge to make better use of the view from the deck would be my only improvement.

Outstanding!!! Kids and adults enjoyed equally. Kids had loads of space to safely explore. Hot tub was a winner for all, couldn't get the kids of there! Thankfully thr hosts were a text away for a top of water ha ha, splash splash. The lodge had everything we needed. WiFi and netflix a lovely touch, especially late evenings catching down with a love. We love the Lake close by and took full advantage. The walks we went on were breath taking. Honestly feeling refreshed and planning to come back. What a wonderful holiday!!! Thank you.

This lodge has everything you need and more if you want piece, quiet and tranquility and not to mention the best views from a hot tub in the uk then this is the lodge for you, it was clean and spacious with a fenced in area for your dogs. The farmer and his wife were very friendly and welcoming and always at hand if you needed them nothing was too much trouble. We are looking forward to coming back

Date of stay: 10th June 2019
This is and as been the best lodge we have stayed in over the past 5/6 years of holidaying in the UK. This has the best facilities for your dogs as the area is fenced off and is a large field for them to play in. the hot tub is great and the view you get from here is breath taking. this is our third time here and we have booked again for our fourth visit. It is very secluded and very peaceful. The cabin itself is very spacious and as everything you will need. Highly recommended.

Sais is essentially identical to the other lodge, Arran(?). It's clean, comfortable, and if you like self-catering lodges it's perfect. It doesn't have WiFi but this is a bonus. If it's there you end up using it -- just like I'm using it now to write this -- so sure, the internet is brilliant but what's even more brilliant is getting away from it for a few days.

Date of stay: 3rd March 2019
The lodges are in a perfect place facing out over the hills enabling you to watch the sunset from the comfort of the hot tub. Whilst my group accepted that there is no WiFi which was a good cleanse, the lack of phone signal can become an issue at times. For anyone staying there, the bookshelf in the main room, the bathroom window both allow your phone to receive a signal. Other than that - couldnt fault it.

Date of stay: 8th October 2018
This is one of the best lodges we have ever stayed in. Spacious, clean, great facilities with a large private hot tub. The location is remote so there is no shops or restaurants etc in walking distance but this is perfect if you are looking for a break to get away from everyday reality. Also makes for perfect star gazing.

A great roomy lodge. Could be tricky with 6 occupants as only one shower and toilet. Great views private location.

Date of stay: 10th August 2018
So peaceful & relaxing. The surrounding area was beautiful & the hot tub at the lodge was an added bonus. Very well equipped lodge & a lovely sized garden for our son to play in. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break & will definately book again.
