Myself and my partner spent 4 nights here with our dog. Had the best time and was sad to leave. Site is lovely, has everything you need and quiet, which is nice if you are after a relaxing break. Views from the lodge were really nice. Plenty of places to visit a short drive away. We have visited to come again for 7 nights over Christmas and new year!Hillside Cabin was out of the way, had everything we needed and was just really cosy.

We have just returned from a 4 night break at Love2Stay Mid Wales and have had the most perfect break. We cannot recommend this place enough for anyone wanting a break away from everyday life. The site has great facilities such as the heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, outdoor play area and even archery and kayaking! The staff are so friendly and approachable, and we absolutely loved the reception dog and parrot - what a lovely touch. The lodges themselves are absolutely spot on and so so clean all throughout the lodges and site. The hot tub was amazing and we certainly got our moneys worth. The views from the lodge too were so beautiful and peaceful. Please give this place a visit, all the great reviews are true!

The lodge was OK, but could do with more cutlery and plates in it. The hot tub was a bit away from the lodge and not really that private, could do with it been on the decking for more privately. As for the activities they were only on Tuesday or Saturday. Could have done with them been on more often. They were great value for the money. We didn't use the pool or the spa as my 2 boys could not use it on they own, one was 14 and the other 15, both good swimmers but still needed a adult with them. As for where it is, you could not really walk anywhere off site, on a tight lane very muddy too. Newtown did surprise me, to how many different shops it as, I would definitely visit Newtown again.

The shepherd's hut was very nice for two people for short stay but didn't have much storage space for you to put your clothes and things and shower to small if you have any disabilities, so we would go for a larger lodge next time,

Blackbarn was gorgeous, had everything needed for self catering inside. Comfy beds , pillows and duvet. Very clean. Even logs left for stove. Great to have lovely outdoor seating too. Alot was thought of for a comfortable stay.

Shepard's hut was gorgeous, all the furnishings and attention to detail really made our stay. Especially the hot tub with the views, but also the little things like logs being included for the first night, and free robes for the hot tub and spa area, as well as little extra's inside.Plenty of space inside the hut and outside on the decking area, bed was really comfy and shower great! Everything looked immaculate!

Very impressed with the modernness and cleanness of the lodge. Nice touches with branded appliances. Very warm and insulated. As stated in past box only suggestion would be to have a lamp on the living area for comfort and to have hooks to hand wet towels and dressing gowns up to avoid furniture getting wet.

A lovely stay at Wrens nest 3 comfy, spotlessly clean and a well equipped kitchen. The staff were attentive and super kind. The hot tub was a lovely addition and also super clean.The swimming baths was immaculate and peaceful also. Beautiful location near to Newtown for any essentials and also food. We will definitely be back!

We spent 3 nights in a black barn lodge (2 adults & 1 dog) and it was honestly a perfect getaway! The attention to detail within the lodges is outstanding. The lodge hot tubs were available all day until 11pm. Spa facilities were wonderful. We did the mini facial and massage combo and our therapist was lovely. The staff are so welcoming. I would highly recommend this site to all who are looking for a peaceful getaway in mid-Wales. We are already looking to book again in the summer ????

We have purely marked the furniture fittings as a 4 because for us there was not anywhere to hang coats , dry robes etc (would be great if they were fitted to the back of doors or in the hallway to the bedrooms) and also we felt that the bedrooms needed mirrors as they was no where to dry hair / put make up on etc. They are not even niggles, it's just personal presence and choice. Other than that, another fabulous stay , already looking to get another break booked in ASAP.

Perfect, underfloor heating big shower good size telly for the rainy days. I feel they would benefit for black out blinds and they might get quite hot in the summer months as there are no openable windows so of an evening you can only open doors which given the location I would be worried about animals coming in at night but I went in October so this did not effect me.
