The only thing we would like to bring to your attention is the Shower.
It either needs de scaling both in it's inside workings and shower head or totally replacing.

This was our second visit to the lodges in 13 years!

We had a wonderfull time with Wendy at Fox lodge she looked after us really well. We will not hesitate to book again. Thank you.

Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend away. The hot tub was amazing. The log cabin was warm and lovely and clean with all the accessories available. We just took food, clothing and a hairdryer. The surrounding area was perfect for walking. There was no amenities local to the cabin which suited us fine. I would like to point out that the shower wasn't at all powerful and although we did bring this to the person's attention and she changed the shower head there was very little difference and we did have to use the bath rather than the shower.

Really lovely lodge - our holiday was fab. No internet was actually really good as it meant we had to switch off from everything giving us more time to spend with our children playing board games and in the hot tub. The fire was really nice too and made it really cosy. The field was perfect for the dog and the children to play on. It is definitely a get away from it all holiday but we did go to the nearby town (husband loved the games shop), and went to Powis castle which was amazing and I would definitely recommend that.

Amazing location. Easier to get to than some of the places I've been but still very private and remote.

Lodge was really well cleaned and designed. Hot Tub was well maintained throughout our stay without being disruptive to us.

Would gladly stay again.

Buzzard Lodge location was perfect. Clean and well equipped. Included a hot tub, which was so relaxing after a long walk.
Only thing I would say needed improving was the mattress on the bed, it was too soft for my liking.

What a fabulous weekend away. We recently stayed for three nights in the Buzzard's lodge and we had a lovely weekend. The lodge is brilliant. It sleeps two people and is the perfect size for two. It's modern and yet has a cosy lodge feel to it. I fell in love with the bedroom, which in my opinion is one of the nicest rooms I've stayed in. Only slight downside are the blinds on the windows, which let in lots of light. However, if you are used to lots of light in the mornings then it's fine. The hot tub is a wonderful bonus. It's slightly overlooked by the Otter Lodge, however, guests of that lodge would really have to go out of their way to see you. If you want complete privacy, I would recommend Fox Lodge from the position of the lodges on site. Wendy was also fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. We bought a few bags of logs from her as the wood burner is so nice on cold evenings and she came round straight away. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Things to know:

There is no phone or internet signal inside the lodge (which in my opinion is great if you really want to chill)
The road leading to the lodges is extremely bumpy and my poor Audi took a bit of a beating. It is definitely worth the journey when you get there though.
There is no mains water, so all water comes from a bore hole. This can make the water slightly smelly at times and I would definitely recommend bringing bottled water with you.

Please don't think any of the above is a criticism, they are just need to know facts. I could not recommend this lodge highly enough.

We always love staying at mill meadows - this is our 4th visit in 3 years; the refurbished buzzard lodge is stunning. The more powerful, walk-in shower was a very welcomed upgrade and overall we think this is by far the most luxurious stay we've had here and we can't wait to come back in May 2018. Thankyou again for a wonderful peaceful retreat.
