The caravan was really nice overall, but the curtains were hanging off the window. Wouldve been perfect with some proper attachments though. Cheers!

It was pretty worn out and felt a bit claustrophobic.

Sadly, this was the tiniest veranda we've ever seen, felt like a waste of cash really.

We had an amazing week with the kids and my nan. Everything was spot on; honestly, we didnt want to leave at all!

Date of stay: 12th May 2024
Honestly, we expected more from the place. The facilities felt pretty worn out and not very inviting. Kids activities seemed quite poor and overpriced for what they were. The restaurant and bar prices were sky-high, too. Our caravan was mouldy and had a strong oily smell. When we asked about an upgrade, they only had the top tier left and it was nearly £200 extra - bit much, really.

The place is in a lovely spot by the port, but honestly, its a bit worn out and could do with a refresh. Still, Id visit again mainly for the location.

We had a pretty decent week here. Since the kids are older, we didn't bother with the indoor stuff. The sites a bit worn out, but it was tidy. Staff were friendly and really helpful too.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, which made the stay better. The caravans felt quite cramped and those plastic steps were honestly a nightmare-slippery and bouncy, not great for everyone.

Really enjoyed our stay, though the caravan was a bit tired. The front decking was small, so we couldn't stand outside comfortably.

Date of stay: 1st November 2023
The caravan was pretty basic, lacked utensils and honestly didnt feel worth the price at all.

Honestly, our stay was a bit of a nightmare from the start. They initially handed us a key for caravan 58, but didn't really clarify there were multiple zones and different 58s around. We got the wrong one at first because we didnt realise and when we entered, we found food still in the fridge and cupboards - not exactly what you want when youre expecting a clean holiday home. Turns out, that key was a master key that opened all caravans on site! After realising the mistake, we finally went to the right caravan, still using that same key and unloaded our stuff. Ten minutes later, we got a call saying theyd mixed things up - apparently, we were in a better caravan than what wed paid for and someone was coming with a different key to move us again. So, we packed up and moved to caravan 7, which was right next to the road, super noisy with cars and pedestrians passing constantly. Plus, it was in total shade because of the big building in front, which made it pretty gloomy. By then, I was honestly ready to just go home. We left a day and a half early, even though we had booked and paid for a full week. Not what we hoped for at all!

Really happy with the stay, just wish the bedrooms were bigger.

Date of stay: 14th May 2023
The caravan was really tidy and in great shape, which we appreciated. Beds were comfy, though, but honestly, the lounge furniture was quite a letdown-really stiff and not very relaxing at all. We expected a bit more comfort there. Overall, though, it was a decent stay with a nice clean van, so can't complain too much!

Weve stayed here a few times and honestly, its generally a nice spot, though there are a few things to keep in mind. The main road nearby can get quite noisy at times, even outside peak season, which might bother some. The decking area is right next to the fence, so you often get people walking right past, which can feel a bit intrusive. The caravan was spotless when we arrived, but we did have to give the cutlery a wash - some items werent very clean and had been put away unwashed. Wi-Fi and mobile signal are pretty weak, which isnt a big deal for us, but younger visitors might find it frustrating, especially since activities are booked via an app that wouldnt download. Well probably come back, but next time well request a caravan further from the main road!

The caravan was fine, but we really missed having a toilet brush included. The washer/dryer took ages to dry clothes, which was a bit frustrating. Also, the airer was tiny - a bigger one wouldve been much better. Still, it was a decent stay overall.

We didnt get to try the on-site restaurant or facilities much because of our sons needs and timing. Thats why I havent rated it, but we wish we could have explored more.
